Accessibility

The AIA Carnival is designed to welcome people of all ages and physical ability. There is a single entry-point into the carnival grounds, located just east of the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, next to pier 10. This entrance is easily accessible by foot or wheelchair. To help you find us, you can view our access map here.

Once you are inside the AIA Carnival, you’ll find it very easy to get around as the entire space is a flat surface (except for some rides, of course). No steps, no slopes, no problems. If you require special assistance, you can ask any of our friendly on-site staff.

Facilities

We’ve got you covered for a fun-filled day out in Hong Kong. There will be plenty of food and drink options available. You’ll also be able to find charging stations in case you took too many photos on your phone, and a gift shop for some fun AIA Carnival merchandise.

What to wear

It’ll be cool outside, so make sure you wear something warm. Layers are recommended as you are sure to warm up after the adrenaline hits you. Pair that with some comfortable shoes so you can easily jump on rides. The AIA Carnival is big this year, so you’ll have some ground to cover.

What to bring

If you don’t remember anything else, do not forget your camera. There are plenty of photo opportunities for your social media feeds and family albums that you will not want to miss.

This time of year is fairly dry in Hong Kong. But, if the weather is looking a bit rainy, pack a raincoat just in case.

Last, but not least, bring your friends, family, laughter, and festive spirit. This will be an experience to remember.

What to leave at home

We do have some house rules to keep the AIA Carnival a safe place for everyone. Any weapons, dangerous items, and flags will not be allowed inside the carnival grounds. Unfortunately, pets and animals are also not able to join you at the AIA Carnival, except for guide dogs or any other service animal. Don’t forget to bring valid identification so we can grant them access.

As we have a wonderful selection of food and refreshment partners, we ask you to finish any outside food and drinks before you enter the carnival. Smoking should also be kept outside the carnival ground as it’s strictly prohibited at the AIA Carnival. That includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, and any other smoking device.

For more details on what is not permitted, please refer to our terms & conditions

Lost & found

If you lost (or found) something at the AIA Carnival, you can visit the Customer Service office on site. If you have already headed home, you can also send us an email or phone our customer service centre on +852 6239 9892 to let us know.

How to buy tickets & tokens

All visitors will need to hold a valid ticket for the exact day you are joining us at the AIA Carnival, either in printed or electronic format with a QR code. The easiest way to buy tickets and tokens is to pre-purchase them online now. You’ll be able to jump in the Advance Booking Queue when you arrive at the front gate and head straight to the action.

Although, if you decide to come along on a whim, you can buy tickets at the AIA Carnival box office. Tokens can also be purchased at the token booths located around the carnival grounds. You will need tokens to jump on the rides or play the games, so make sure you stock up.

Food and refreshments can be purchased with credit cards or tokens.

Photography & filming

Bring your camera! Take lots of photos. Share it on social media. However, commercial filming and drone flying is strictly prohibited at the AIA Carnival. If you think you are an exception to the rule, you can contact our Customer Care Centre on info@aiacarnival.com to enquire about permits.
